For Academic Institutions

Bring Governed AI Education Into Your Degree Architecture

RSIT certifications are credit-bearing, patent-pending, and governed by an independent standards body — designed to embed directly into your Master’s, Doctoral, and Postgraduate programs without requiring your institution to manage curriculum updates.

Most AI education products ask universities to trust a content library. RSIT asks you to trust an architecture — one where the entity that defines the standards is constitutionally separate from the entity that delivers the certification.

The Roger Sherman Center for Applied Intelligence (RSCFAI) authors all Master Implementation Plans, canonical pattern libraries, guardrail catalogs, and metric definitions. RSIT delivers the certification and operates the capstone. RSIT cannot modify a MIP.

For your institution, this means the assessment framework your students are evaluated against is governed by an independent standards body — with permanent change logs, version-frozen cohort protection, and data-triggered revision cycles that require no action from your curriculum committee.

“The entity that delivers a certification cannot be the same entity that defines the standards it is assessed against.”

Section 01 — Governance Architecture

The Ecosystem That Governs Every Certification

Authority flows from RSH downward. Data flows from RSCFAI to RSIT to RSIS — one direction only. No entity operates outside its constitutional mandate.

RSH
Roger Sherman Holdings
Constitutional apex authority. Capital governance. Does not operate. All entity mandates flow from RSH.
RSCFAI
Center for Applied Intelligence
Standards authority. Authors all MIPs, canonical pattern libraries, guardrail catalogs, metric definitions. Cannot be modified by RSIT.
RSIT
Institute of Technology
Certification delivery. Operates the capstone. Consumes RSCFAI standards. Cannot modify, reinterpret, or extend them.
RSLS
Legal Services
IP governance, contractual control, cross-entity legal authority. Manages all partnership agreements.
Sherman Pathways
Commercial Orchestration
Distribution, degree-pathway mapping, university partner orchestration. No IP ownership. No academic authority.
Authority flows: RSH → all entities  ·  Data flows: RSCFAI → RSIT → RSIS (one direction only, never upstream)

Standards Independence

RSCFAI defines standards. RSIT delivers them. Structural separation is baked into the legal architecture — not a procedural policy, a constitutional mandate.

No Curriculum Drift

RSCFAI revises standards only when capstone intelligence data triggers a review — not when a commercial team decides to update content for marketing reasons.

Permanent Change Log

Every MIP version is recorded in the Governance Update Ledger™. Every change is traceable to a specific data trigger. No black-box curriculum updates mid-partnership.

Cohort Version Freeze

Active cohorts complete under the standards they enrolled under. RSCFAI patches affect only new cohorts. No mid-program curriculum disruption for your students.

Section 02 — Credit Framework Compatibility

Three Frameworks. One Certification Architecture.

No manual credit mapping required from your institution. RSIT certifications map to your existing framework on enrollment.

ECTS
European Credit Transfer System
Bologna Process compliant. Each RSIT certification = 6 ECTS. Master’s tracks embed 10 certifications (60 ECTS). Doctoral tracks embed 20 (120 ECTS).

Section 03 — Stacked Credential™ Model

From Certification to Degree: The Three-Phase Architecture

The Sherman-Nexus™ model converts professional certifications into internationally recognized degrees through three sequential phases.

Phase 01
Certification
4–6 weeks per certification
Student earns RSIT professional certifications. Each = 6 ECTS, fully credit-bearing. Self-paced, self-guided capstone. 117+ certifications across 13 domains. No prior degree required for entry.
Phase 02
Intelligence
Parallel to Phase 01
Each capstone is validated by RSIS™ Compliance Engines against RSCFAI standards. The capstone connects to real-world governance logic — not a test bank. Produces 8 governed intelligence artifacts.
Phase 03
Accreditation
Thesis or dissertation top-up
Stacked certifications convert to credit toward a university degree via Sherman Pathways. Master’s: 10 certs + top-up thesis. Doctoral: 20 certs + dissertation.

Two Patent-Pending Methodologies — What They Protect

The assessment and simulation methodologies are protected methods. When your institution embeds RSIT certifications, you embed patent-pending infrastructure.

Patent-Pending No.1

Constitutional Assessment Gating + Validator Agent Architecture

Filing: This month  ·  USPTO Classes: G06Q, G09B, G06F
  • Structural gate runs before scoring — binary hard-fail on 12 checks
  • Deterministic scoring pipeline across 7 fixed weight categories
  • Hard lockout state machine — 5 attempts then mandatory remediation
  • Substitutable Validator Agent — non-student-facing, invoked by Review Agent
  • Post-remediation scenario regeneration with counter reset
Status: Filing this month  ·  Build: Fully deployed at capstone.rsit.ai
Patent-Pending No.2

AI Governance Crisis Simulation + Canonical Scoring

Filing: Q2 2026 (upon RSIS Labs deployment)  ·  USPTO: G06Q, G09B
  • Synthetic crisis scenario parameterized by industry, jurisdiction, AI type
  • Escalating decision phases mapped to canonical governance objects
  • Decision trace recording — option + timestamp + governance object IDs
  • Per-decision scoring against canonical framework mappings
  • Dimensional readiness report with gap identification + remediation priorities

The Certification Gets Stronger With Every Cohort.

Every student who completes a capstone generates intelligence data that improves the next cohort’s standards. No curriculum committee action required.

01
Student completes capstone

02
CIAL ingests artifact pack
Anonymized pattern data and confusion signals extracted by the Capstone Intelligence Aggregation Layer
03
Pattern library calibrated
RSIS detects over- and under-represented governance patterns across cohorts
04

Section 06 — Partner Value Proposition

What Your Institution Gains

The value is operational, academic, and reputational — across all three categories simultaneously.

Operational

Zero Curriculum Maintenance

RSCFAI manages standards. RSIT operates the assessment. You embed the credit-bearing modules. No committee action required to keep content current.

Fast Deployment

White-label and SCORM delivery allows co-branded cohort launches in 3–6 weeks. Moodle LTI 1.3 integration available. No LMS rebuild required.

New Top-of-Funnel Pathway

No prior degree required for certification entry. Your degree programs gain access to working professionals who could not otherwise qualify for direct enrollment.

Academic

Constitutional Governance Separation

RSCFAI’s independence from RSIT means your institution partners with a standards-governed body — analogous to external examination in traditional academic systems.

Cohort Versioning Protection

Active cohorts complete under the standards they enrolled under. RSCFAI patches affect only new cohorts. No mid-program curriculum disruption for your students.

Global Credential Recognition

Certifications are mapped across ECTS, UK RQF, and Mexican frameworks. Students who transfer between partner institutions carry recognized credit.

Reputational

Patent-Pending Infrastructure

Your AI governance programs are backed by a patent-pending assessment methodology — not a content library. That distinction matters to accreditation bodies and employers.

Verifiable Practitioner Formation

Every RSIT graduate can govern an AI system — verifiably, documentably, attestably via DEAL™. This is a practitioner formation claim, not a completion badge.

First-Mover in Living Standards

No competitor in AI governance education operates a closed-loop intelligence flywheel. Your institution is early to the category that will define the field.
