Roger Sherman Holdings LLC believes that governed intelligence must be universally reachable. We are actively working to ensure our website, Learning Management System (LMS), and Academic Verification Portal comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the internationally recognized benchmark for digital accessibility.

Accessibility is not a compliance checkbox for us — it is a design governance requirement. The same rigor we apply to AI governance and credential architecture is applied to ensuring that every learner, regardless of disability status or assistive technology, can access, navigate, and complete their education on our platform.

Measures Taken

The following accessibility standards have been integrated into our engineering, curriculum design, and content production processes:

Semantic HTML Structure Proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions across all pages to support screen reader navigation and logical document structure.
Contrast Ratios High-contrast typography throughout — dark text on light backgrounds and light text on dark panels — meeting or exceeding WCAG AA contrast requirements for all body copy.
Alternative Text Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images. Complex architectural diagrams and system charts include extended descriptions for non-visual access.
Keyboard Navigation All interactive elements — forms, accordion components, navigation menus, and LMS modules — are operable by keyboard alone without requiring a pointer device.
Video Captioning All video lectures in the Signature Series and certification modules include closed captions and downloadable transcripts for Deaf and hard-of-hearing learners.
Focus Management Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements. Dynamic content changes (modals, accordions, alerts) include appropriate ARIA live region announcements.
Compatibility & Supported Technologies

The Sherman-Nexus™ platform and Sherman Pathways website are designed to be compatible with the following environments and assistive technologies:

Browsers Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, and Mozilla Firefox — current and prior major release versions on Windows, macOS, and Linux
Screen Readers NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), Apple VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), and TalkBack (Android)
Mobile OS iOS (Safari) and Android (Chrome) — including native accessibility features such as Dynamic Text, Display Zoom, and system-level contrast settings
Input Methods Standard keyboard, switch access, voice control (Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Apple Voice Control), and pointer magnification tools
Known Limitations

We acknowledge that some areas of our platform are still undergoing active accessibility remediation. Specifically: certain legacy PDF documents (pre-2024 curriculum materials) may not yet be fully tagged for screen reader access; third-party LMS components provided by upstream vendors may not yet meet full WCAG AA conformance; and some complex interactive data visualizations in the RSIS dashboard are being reworked with accessible alternatives. We are committed to resolving these gaps on a documented timeline. If you encounter a barrier in any of these areas, please contact us directly — your report accelerates our remediation priority.
