The Doctoral Architecture
The program consists of 20 compulsory RSIT certifications (120 ECTS) followed by a Doctoral Dissertation (60 ECTS) for a total of 180 ECTS.

Upon completion of all 20 certifications, candidates produce and defend an original doctoral dissertation that integrates governance architecture, regulatory intelligence, and educational systems design into an original contribution to the field, supervised by Universidad Azteca faculty.

🔒 Mandatory Admission Requirement
To receive the official Ed.D. Degree from Universidad Azteca, applicants must hold a recognized Master's Degree (or international equivalent) in Education, Law, Business, Engineering, AI, Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
36–48 months. Rolling admissions with multiple annual intakes.
Recommended: 24–36 months taught component + 6–12 months dissertation.
Certifications: Knowledge Exam (minimum 80%) + Applied Capstone (minimum 70%).
Dissertation: Formal academic defense.
It is the sole responsibility of the student to verify the validity and recognition of these credentials in their specific country, employer, or local jurisdiction prior to enrollment. Sherman Pathways accepts no liability for third-party recognition decisions.

Have you already completed the 20 required RSIT certifications independently? You may be eligible for Retroactive Degree Matriculation.
Students who hold all 20 verified certifications may apply to convert their portfolio into the official EdD Degree upon payment of a Degree Conversion & Matriculation Fee (€4,500), subject to academic validation and Master's degree verification. Will require additional work for the completion of a doctoral dissertation.
